School Council

At Litherland Moss, we have an active and well established school council. The council meets fortnightly and discusses a wide range of issues that affect our school community.

The first priority is that children feel safe and happy at Litherland Moss. Every child matters and nobody is more important than anyone else.

Children are elected by their own class. 2 children represent each year group form Year 2 to Year 6.

The School Council's views have contributed to changes in the playground, to lunchtime rotas and behaviour, rewards and sanctions. School Councillors feed back to their class friends and give everyone the opportunity to 'have a say'. Most recently the School Council have taken responsibility for the fruit trolley at breaktimes.

Teachers and the Headteacher take the School Council's voice seriously and listen to children's views. Mrs Munn leads the Council and may be contacted via school for further information.

If children have any concerns or would like to suggest ways to improve our school, no matter how small, please speak to school council representatives or use the Worry Box in the school foyer.
