Year 3 Curriculum
Please find below an overview of year three’s curriculum for 2025/26 and our weekly timetable.
This half-term in geography is Urban and Rural Britain.
This half-term, our Science topic is Animals including humans.
The half-term, in art, we will be looking at developing our drawing skills.
Our current class read is Bad Panda by Swapna Haddow.
Important information:
During Autumn Term, PE is on Monday. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school each week.
Reading books are changed on a weekly basis every Friday. Please record that your child has engaged with their weekly home reading in their reading journal.
Our weekly spellings and times tables tests are each Thursday. Practice sheets go home every Thursday with spellings and times tables for the following Thursday
Please practise times tables on Hit the Button or Purple Mash.
Helping at home
Children are expected to read daily at home. Through asking your children questions about their reading, you will help to develop their comprehension skills.
